The Fifine K688 is a dynamic USB/XLR microphone designed for podcasting, streaming, gaming, voiceovers, vocal recording, online communication, and content creation. Its cardioid pickup pattern focuses on sound from the front while helping reduce unwanted background noise from the sides and rear.
The K688 provides both USB-C and XLR connectivity, giving users flexibility for different recording setups. USB-C allows convenient plug-and-play connection with a compatible computer, while XLR can be used with an audio interface, mixer, or other compatible equipment for a more advanced audio setup.
The microphone features a 50Hz–16kHz frequency response and a signal-to-noise ratio above 80dB, providing detailed and focused voice capture. Its dynamic design is suitable for handling louder vocal sources, with a maximum SPL of up to 130dB.
For convenient control, the K688 includes a quick mute button and microphone gain control when connected through USB. A 3.5mm headphone output also provides real-time monitoring, allowing users to hear their microphone audio while recording or streaming.
The microphone comes with a shock mount that helps reduce unwanted vibrations and desk noise. A USB-C to USB-A cable and a 5/8-inch to 3/8-inch adapter are also included. The XLR cable and boom arm are not included.
With dual USB/XLR connectivity, cardioid pickup, dynamic sound capture, headphone monitoring, mute control, and a durable desktop design, the Fifine K688 is a practical microphone for creators, gamers, streamers, podcasters, and voice recording.
