This is HP's fast, versatile workgroup scanner, built for offices that need to digitize both loose stacks of paper and fragile bound materials. It combines a 50-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) with a traditional flatbed, so you can quickly scan multi-page reports at 25 ppm and then switch to the glass for ID cards, booklets, or stapled forms. The trade-off is that it's a strictly USB-tethered machine with a 3,000-sheet daily duty cycle, but if you need reliable, high-volume desktop scanning without the bulk of a departmental unit, this is an excellent fit.
